簡介:
, l7 \2 R! h2 {* \7 R* L美國加州於1986年開始實施「安全飲用水及有毒物質法案」 (The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act)，又稱為加州65法案，主要是推廣安全、乾淨的飲用水，並促使消費性產品不含會導致癌症或畸形兒的有毒物質。法規精神為：「從事商業行為的任何人，不得將危害物質於未經告示下販售給消費者。」7 O& S9 @" F7 o/ i' E

1 T4 c+ R$ x2 z9 F. S% r1 F% ^California Prop 65 affects all products sold or distributed in California, including: Toys, Clothing, Cosmetics, jewellery, Electrical devices, Wires & Cables, etc.

要求:1 n+ [3 c' A$ y4 u9 e
Firms doing business in California and exposing individuals to chemicals “known to the State” to cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive toxicity must:

(1) Provide clear and reasonable warning
5 o% h% f. Z* C8 V, c6 Q9 Z+ L. n/ ^4 S(2) Do not discharge listed chemicals into drinking water

; Z) ^5 g5 ^8 f# B' v0 I警告標識內容要求:$ T, ~! y& \9 ~- a5 w; Q( o% B
0 m' \% q6 h( C6 F& y(1) A warning must be given for listed chemicals unless exposure is low enough to pose no significant risk.
) m$ d% f( w% e$ [5 s(2) Warning labelling is required if the product does not meet the requirements of Proposition 65.
t; D U: A& V& }1 Y1 h: @; V(3) The warning message must clearly communicate that the chemical in question is known to the State (California) to cause adverse effects. |
